COLOURED SIGNAL BOX DIAGRAM of BUXTON LAMAS STATION in NORFOLK, IN AN ORIGINAL WOODED FRAME. Shows from COLTISHALL on the left to AYLSHAM on the right. In good condition but with a small amount of water staining. Dated 4th October 1921, with revisions to the track layout dated 15th August 1958. Guessing this is quite rare, as I can't remember seeing another GER diagram in a wooden frame like this one.
The frame is in very good condition as is the glass which is not cracked or broken. Overall size is 35 3/4" (908mm) wide x 14 1/2" (368mm) high.
Buxton Lamas was on the GER line from Wroxham to County School and closed to passengers in September 1952 and to general goods in April 1965. However, goods in the form of concrete beams still ran past the station from the Lenwade Concrete Works until 1981. Will be extremely well wrapped and sent in a large cardboard surround, but is at the buyers risk. The item "GER GREAT EASTERN RAILWAY SIGNAL BOX DIAGRAM, BUXTON LAMAS IN ORIGINAL SURROUND" is in sale since Sunday, January 24, 2021.
