RA-5C VIGILANTE ORIGINAL REVELL MODELS ART STUDIO BOX COVER PAINTING AWESOME! This is a beautiful fine art original painting in air-brush and acrylic on Crescent 110 cold-press illustration board. This painting was custom made for a plastic model kit box cover by artist Stu Shepherd for the now defunct Revell Models co. Shepherd was a very talented artist that painted mostly dramatic and accurate aircraft artwork subjects for Revell and Monogram Models throughout the 80's and 90's.

This subject is a RA-5C Vigilante or "Viggy" as it was affectionately called. This painting is large 16" X 26" image size. Painting is in EX condition with no fading or chipping or damage and is still very vibrant, has great detail, colors and the clouds have a 3D effect and is mesmerizing to view as you can see in the photos! This painting as well as all others in my collection are guaranteed Vintage Original and Authentic. Original paintings like this that are signed by the artist are few and now a much sought after item.

Sadly, most of these paintings were destroyed throughout the years and now are sought after collector items. There are VERY few of these model paintings left as companies typically destroyed the original after print films were made. I have shown a picture of the actual model kit production box the painting was originally used for. The box top photo is for ref.
