Vintage Keuffel & Esser Surveyors Transit NP5155 WithOriginal Wood Box & Strap

This Circa 1957 Keuffel & Esser Surveyors Transit NP5155 W/Original Wood Box & Strap is in good used condition. The box and leather strap appear to be in good condition. Everything seems to move as it should on the transit. The plumb bob is missing the brass tip.

The box number and the transit number dont match (see pics) but that doesnt take away any of the vintage coolness. Due to the nature of vintage items, it is often the case they have seen use and been well loved by families in their previous life. I don't see these issues as "flaws". I feel this adds to the charm, history and character of our items, and gives them something special that contemporary items lack.
