Vintage U. S. Navy A-7 Corsair II Desktop Model Complete NOS in Original Box

  
If you are a collector of vintage military aircraft desktop models, or a fan of the Vought/LTV A-7. Corsair II then you are likely familiar with this item. It's a 1/48th scale model of a Navy version of this incredible attack aircraft. These were produced by Precise Models, Inc.

Of Elyria, OH for Vought, and the company gave them to VIPs and pilots who had completed their first flight in the A-7. Offered is a NOS (New, Old Stock) 1/48th scale Precise Models' USN A-7. Sometimes mistaken for a'Topping Model', this particular one has been quietly sitting in the box it was placed in by the Precise builders back in the late 1960s. I acquired it directly from Vought when they went out of business, and it's in excellent condition. Complete with no broken or missing parts...

Something all too common in most similar offerings. There is a slight discoloration on the upper wing (see photos), but this could be easily cleaned.

In no way does it distract from the overall quality of this stellar item. Sure, you might be able to find another Precise A-7, but you WON'T find one better than this one.
